1
Colombo to Sigiriya
Depart Colombo and drive to the Cultural Triangle. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple complex en route before arriving in Sigiriya for the evening.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Polonnaruwa
Morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon excursion to the ancient ruined city of Polonnaruwa.

Sigiriya to Kandy
Drive to Kandy, visiting a spice garden en route. Afternoon visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic and an evening walk around Kandy Lake.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Scenic drive up into the hill country, stopping at a working tea plantation and factory for a tour and tasting. Afternoon at leisure around Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Continue through the hill country to Ella. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge and, for those who wish, hike to the Little Adam's Peak viewpoint.

Ella to Yala Safari
Drive to Yala. Afternoon or early evening game-drive safari in Yala National Park in search of leopards, elephants, and diverse birdlife.

Yala to South Coast & Departure
Morning drive to the south coast for a final relaxing stop at Mirissa or Galle before transfer to Colombo / the airport for departure.
