Arrival in Colombo
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Rest and settle in after your flight.
Colombo to Anuradhapura
Drive to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka's ancient first capital. Visit the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree and the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa.
Anuradhapura & Mihintale
Full day exploring Anuradhapura's ancient monasteries and stupas, plus an excursion to Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
Anuradhapura to Polonnaruwa
Continue to Polonnaruwa, the island's medieval capital. Explore the ancient ruins including the Vatadage and Gal Vihara rock carvings.
Wildlife Safari & Sigiriya
Morning safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park (elephant gathering season dependent), then transfer to Sigiriya.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Dambulla
Morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple complex.
Sigiriya to Kandy

Ella to Yala
Drive to Yala, with time to settle in before an evening at leisure.
Yala National Park Safari
Full-day wildlife safari in Yala National Park in search of leopards, elephants, and diverse birdlife.
Yala to Tissamaharama - Second Safari
Second wildlife safari, this time at nearby Udawalawe or Bundala National Park, known for elephant herds and birdlife.
South Coast to Mirissa
Drive to Mirissa on the south coast. Afternoon at leisure on the beach, with an optional sunset visit to Coconut Tree Hill.
Mirissa Whale Watching

Galle Fort & Bentota
